All alone in a world of Dark,
creatures crawl within the shadows.
Heavy breath and silent steps,
no one sees, no one hears.
Screams of the Angels,
as they now fall.
Laughs of the Dark
causing it all.
No one left
but us dead.
Walking through Shadows,
seeing pale Dark,
fighting for Light,
all while trapped in Nothing.

He holds my heart with claws.
Within that hold my heart rips,
And I feel trapped.
To please him is far out of my reach,
Even though I dance like a fool for him.
He just is just locked up inside,
With a distant look on his features,
Not even noticing me.
Leaving me in the cold,
I try to stay strong, but my happiness is fading.
I finally found warmth,
Then he took it away,
With his bitter cold touch.
My beliefs are within his lies,
That my secrets are safe with him, and he would rid my fears.
Only to hid his.
I will pretend that his lies are true,
Because the memories of the past is my poison,
That I am killing myself with.

Upon his pillow
Holding whispered remorse.

Neatly tucked away
With a shadow of rain.

Melting with diamonds

Waiting to be opened
By his shaking hands.

Being trapped between life and death is... horrific. Yeah, I think that's a decent one-word description. I think that, even if that's not what you've meant to capture with this, you did so, anyway. And very well.
